Local Business Owner Brenda Doles, RN, Named to NSBA Leadership Council

Columbia, MD – Brenda Doles, President of HealthCare Resolution Services, Inc., was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. As the nation’s oldest small-business advocacy organization, NSBA operates on a staunchly nonpartisan basis. Mrs. Doles has joined the council alongside other advocates from across the country as they work to promote the interests of small businesses with policymakers in Washington, D.C.

“As the head of a women-owned small business, as well as a minority-owned business, I’ve seen firsthand why it’s so important to be involved and active with the laws and regulations that govern our industry,” she said. “Joining NSBA’s Leadership Council will allow me to share our message with the people who need to hear it most in our government.”

For over 25 years, Mrs. Doles has been spearheading the efforts of HCRS to provide expert health information management (HIM). Her agency has partnered with multiple organizations and levels of government to deliver high-quality data interoperability. It has also been a major proponent of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), and is a Registered Practitioner Organization (RPO) that can advise government contractors on how to prepare for CMMC 2.0.

Mrs. Doles joined the NSBA Leadership Council as part of her efforts to tackle the many critical issues facing small business contractors, including regulatory restraints, high cybersecurity insurance requirements, contract bundling, and discrimination. The council offers valuable networking between small-business advocates from across the country and congressional regulators who can address their key proposals.
